When: August 11th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: In theaters. What'd I Think?: Creepy prequel is better than the first film, but not quite as good as the "Conjuring" films. My Rating: 8/10 Other Notes: This is the second time within a year I've seen, in which a subpar horror film had a prequel as its follow-up film, and it was actually a good film, the other one being "Ouija" and "Ouija: Origin of Evil." It's almost like they made the bad, rushed out sequels first, and then decided to make the original and actually scary film second. It's just so weird.
