The film greatly benefits from good directing by Jodie Foster, some intense sequences, and some hints at a smarter movie hidden underneath, but the film also greatly suffers due to some character inconsistencies, outlandish plot turns, and predictability, making it a mostly entertaining, but simultaneously frustrating mess. 5.9/10

There are some funny moments, and a great performance by Susan Sarandon, but the film doesn't do much more than offer some amusing but forgettable fluff, which moves along slowly, like nothing more than series of vignettes. 6.3/10
