You won't find realism here, and the film isn't quite as funny as it could've been, but at the very least this is an amusing, well acted, and quirky social satire that doesn't take full advantage of its premise, but doesn't squander it either. 6.3/10

The film's premise could've lent itself to some decent comedic scenarios, but as is, this is a serviceable, harmless, if predictable, sitcom-esque comedy, that has some laughs, but not enough to warrant a recommendation for anyone outside of its target audience. 5.3/10

An engaging, brutally entertaining, and masterful sequel, that builds upon the world set up in the first film, in an intensely satisfying way, resulting in an even greater film, and one of the best straight-up action films of the decade. 9.7/10

Fast paced humor, often hilarious, and beautifully animated superhero parody, this film doesn't quite reach the same level of pathos as the previous LEGO movie, but is nevertheless a fantastic and welcome addition, and hopefully the start of a surprisingly great franchise. 9.0/10
